Organ Concert Fund Application

These questions will assess whether you can apply for a grant from the organ playing fund.

The Inches Carr Trust wishes to encourage the playing of organs and has provided Scotland’s Churches Trust with capital funding to assist churches in having their organs played more than at present. It is hoped that this initiative will contribute to the “open doors” objective of the Scheme and its member churches.

• Grants towards the cost of (or subsidy required for) an event or programme may be available, up to a maximum of, £400


• Grants are not available for the purchase, repair or restoration of an instrument. Grants will only be given for events or programmes which currently do not take place; are open to the public, and are advertised within the local community as being so.

• For example, grants may be given for the following:
Guest organist’s travelling and accommodation costs, Organist’s fee, Exceptional heating/ lighting/ organ tuning costs, Advertising/ printing costs
